Church Christmas Market – 1st December

by Graham on October 3, 2012

The Church Christmas Market will be from 10am – 12 noon in the Primary and AIM rooms on Saturday 1st December.  The church are hoping to have their stalls laden with cakes, preserves and gifts including The Scout Group’s usual Christmas stall where you can purchase your Christmas fripperies – wrapping paper, baubles, cards, crackers.

We know it’s early yet – but we want to encourage you to think about it in advance so you might look out for any “buy one, get one free” bargains.

As usual we want the Market to be bright and Christmassy full of gifts that folk will want to buy – so no bric-a-brac please!!

The church are hoping to be able to make up some Christmas food baskets again – ideal gifts for those living alone – so they will need small packets of shortbreads, Christmas puddings, sweets and chocolates.

The AIM room will be the “Café” area – which we hope to fill with the aroma of Bacon Butties.

Your child’s section leader will be ahppy to recieve any donations espcially for our Christmas stall – wrapping paper, cards, decorations, crackers… anything that is bright and Christmas related that we can sell on our stall.
